| Crop Science is a challenging and exciting academic curriculum. After completing introductory courses in crop science and soil science, students pursue advanced courses in weed science, soil fertility, crop ecology, soil fertility, soil classification, soil physical properties, and insect and plant management. To excel as a crop scientist, students must be adequately prepared in these sciences, and in the basic sciences, such as chemistry and mathematics. Each undergraduate student chooses a specialty option in keeping with his or her long-range plans. | |
