In the Department of Crop Science at North Carolina State University, we realize that we must maintain a versatile and responsive educational program to train tomorrow's leading crop scientists. We offer undergraduate and graduate degree programs that answer the need for highly trained individuals at all levels of our occupation. For students wishing to gain technical expertise, field crops technology and turfgrass management curriculums leading to an Associate's degree are available in the Agricultural Institute.

Students wanting a Bachelor of Science degree have curricula in agronomic business, agronomic sciences, crop production, soil science, and turfgrass management from which to choose. Advanced programs leading to Master of Science or Doctor of Philosophy degrees are available in plant breeding and genetics, crop physiology and biochemistry, crop management, and weed science.
