The mission of the Crop Science Department at North Carolina State University is to conduct research on production and utilization of agronomic plants in an efficient and sustainable manner, educate students in the applied and basic sciences that relate to agronomic plants, and effectively disseminate agronomic information to our clients throughout the state, nation, and world.
